Process & Timeline
Estimated completion time:
6-8 weeks ( 5 working days per week | time for communication not inlcuded)
The artist works sequentially to give each piece the neede time and attention.

Communication, feedback, updates
Communication via Email only. Response time (by the artist) within 2 days.
Progress updates: A couple of pictures every 2 weeks
Feedback for small changes/ adjustments can be given 2x at the 25% & 50% mark
The client is obliged to respond in a reasonable and timely manner (2-4 days) to ensure the completion of the artwork within the estimated timeframe
Pricing & Payment Terms
Upfront deposit: A deposit of 50% is due after the client has received a detailed answer on their Commissions Form and was given a Quota.
Payment Methods: Direkt Bank transfer, Paypal
Work only starts after payment is received.
Cancellation & Refunds
- Client cancels before work starts ( A commission is considered confirmed once the concept, scope, and direction of the artwork have been discussed and approved (“greenlit”), and payment (deposit) has been received, greenligning the artwork → partial refund (minus admin fee of 150$)
- If the client cancels before this confirmation stage, any payment made will be refunded in full.
- If the client cancels after the commission has been confirmed, the deposit is non-refundable, as it secures the slot and covers time spent on communication, concept development, and preparation.
- After work has begun → no refund of deposit
- If Artist cancels → full refund
Artistic Rights & Usage
- The artist retains full copyright for the artwork ( usage for portfolio/social media)
- The client receives personal use rights only
Shipping / Delivery
- Shipping will be inlcuded into the Quota
- As commissioned paintings are made on unstretched canvas the artwork will shipped in a tube.
- Each artwork is carefully prepared for shipment by the artist, including protective layers such as glassine paper and reinforced edges.
- The artwork is then handed over to a professional shipping service, which provides the external packaging and handles dispatch.
- While the artist takes care in preparing the artwork,The Artist is not responsible for the packaging materials or methods used by the shipping provider, nor for handling during transit.
- Responsibility for the artwork transfers to the client once the package has been dispatched. This means that the artist is not liable for loss, damage, or delays that occur during transit.
- If the artwork arrives damaged, please contact the artist within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photographs of the packaging and the artwork. While the artist cannot guarantee replacement or refund, They will do their best to assist in resolving the issue with the shipping provider.
- Any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees are the responsibility of the client.
